Rachel has always had a love for animals and since moving to the Island in 2012 she also has never ending inspiration from its beautiful wildlife.
She uses a combination of Faber castell, carbothello, derwent pastel pencils, and acrylics.
Rachel strives to capture not only the animal’s personalities, but also their essence.
Rachel graduated from Bristol UWE in 2012 with a BA Hons in Drawing and Applied Arts, and has continued to love creating art

"Rachel is a truly talented artist. My sister and I asked Rachel to commission a picture as a Christmas present for our Auntie and Uncle. I sent Rachel 4 separate pictures of their dogs and she created this amazing portrait of them all together. She sent progress photos and it was amazing to see the portrait coming together. We couldn't wait until Christmas to give it to them and just had to give it to them early. It is already pride of place on the wall in their living room and they absolutely love it.
